Feel like you’re stuck in a rut?
Emotionally drained? Financially exhausted?
I understand. Times are tough right now. There’s a lot of chaos and uncertainty. It’s affected my business, too.
BUT… what if this is happening to benefit us?
What if all this disorder and confusion is happening FOR US – not TO US?
I like to think that experiencing adversity, with the right frame of mind, is actually incredibly rewarding.
No, I’m not crazy – OK, maybe a little – but, I definitely don’t enjoy suffering. And, I don’t enjoy you suffering, either.
I’m just saying, maybe there’s something to be gained from all this.
How?
Well, let’s look at the other side of the grass – where it looks greener.
When things are good, our minds are usually pampered. We’re consumed with states of enjoyment and amusement. Very rarely do we feel naturally challenged. Instead, we’re likely growing lazy, weak, and disinterested.
Often, many of us take it for granted – we don’t appreciate how good things actually are.
Now, the situation at hand – this so called ‘misfortune’ we’re all experiencing.
If we really think about it, it’s obvious.
Only in times of adversity are we actually challenged.
Unless we’re faced with some difficulty, some mishap, some hardship, our minds are not encouraged to function at a higher level.
In other words, adversity causes the mind to think properly.
It forces us to make close examinations of our situations and our options at hand.
Because of tough times, we can learn to ACCEPT what’s out of our control. We can learn to build COURAGE to change what is in our control. And, we can develop an AWARENESS to know the difference between these two.
If we allow it to, adversity can take us to new heights – new experiences.
As the creatures of this planet, is that not what we’re here to do? To Grow?
Of course!
It’s in our nature! In our genes! We’re growing until the moment we die!

YES – this chaos is shaking things up.
But it’s also dusting off the cobwebs.
It’s strengthening our minds and adjusting our perspectives.
It’s giving us exactly what we need.
So, it’s my promise to you, these tough times won’t last.
The uncertainty will pass.
However, if we can use this to our advantage, and develop the right views, we’ll find a peace within that will carry us through any storm.
That’s the moment we’ll realize this ‘misfortune’ was actually the greatest thing that could have happened to us.
